    9th Job Search Strategy Seminar for International Students

    January 21st (Fri.), 2022, 17:00 - 18:30 , 9th Job Search Strategy Seminar for International Students: Preparing on-line group interviews was held by CIEE.   Twelve international students at Osaka University participated in the event. The participants learned about the tips on how to go through on-line job interviews, followed by the sham group interviews.

    January 13th (Thu.), 2022, 12:15 p.m.- a Game Session “Asa made sore seikai” was held by Minoh B.S.P. via online. The number of participants was 4 international students and 3 local students. It was a good opportunity to learn daily Japanese conversation for international students through the game and it was a good time for them to interact.

    Kakizome (Calligraphy) Party was held by Minoh B.S.P. at the CIEE Minoh Branch. The number of participants was 8 international students and 17 local students. The international students experienced the typical event of Japanese New Year, and they had a good time.

    January 7th (Fri.), 2022, 17:00 - 18:30 , 8th Job Search Strategy Seminar for International Students: Preparing interviews and group discussion (on-line and off-line) was held by CIEE. Sixteen international students at Osaka University participated in the event. The participants learned about the tips on how to go through job interviews and group discussions,  followed by the sham group discussion.

Many international students tried calligraphy for the first time and enjoyed the traditional Japanese experience while watching the good example of B.S.P. students.

They enjoyed writing Japanese New Year’s greetings and putting various New Year’s stickers on cards including “tiger” as the zodiac animal of 2022.

    December 19th(Sun.), 2021, 11:40 a.m. -, “Nature Walk-Katsuoji temple in Minoh-” was held by OUISA. The participants were eleven international students and one local student. They had fun walking around Katsuoji temple which has been popular throughout its history as a bringer of good fortune.

    In December 16th (Thu.), 2021, 12:15-, on the 5th floor of “Research and Education Hub” on Minoh campus, “Korean Cafe” was held by Minoh B.S.P. via face to face. The number of participants was 12 international students and 13 local students. The participants were divided into groups according to the level and enjoyed Korean conversations. It was a useful time for everyone, including local students who learn Korean and native Korean speaking students.

    Dec. 16th (Thu), 2021, 12:10- "OUISA Hour ~ EGYPT ~" was held at IRIS by OUISA. The participants were six international students and three local students offline. Muhammad Abdulmohsen Abdulkader Neanaa, an international student in the school of Science, introduced Egypt, the country of his origin. He talked about a wide range of contents, such as the origins of ancient Egyptian characters and how to build a pyramid. After the presentation, participants actively engaged in Q&A session.

    December. 9th (Thu.), 2021, 13:00-, “90th Anniversary Celebration Event with National Cheng Kung University” was held via online. The number of participants was 56 students in total. They were divided into 6 groups for self-introduction, and played Ishin-Denshin game. After that, they enjoyed sharing their culture by introducing each city and local foods, using slides.

    December. 6th (Mon.), 2021, 12:15- an English game event, “Ishin-Denshin” was held by Toyonaka B.S.P. via online. The number of participants was 4 international students and 3 local students. They enjoyed interacting, while writing down answers to each topic at the same time by using chat boxes on Zoom.

    December 6th (Mon.), 2021, 17:00 - 18:30 , 7th Job Search Strategy Seminar for International Students: Preparing entry sheets and company recruiting fairs was held by CIEE. Twenty-one international students at Osaka University participated in the event. The participants learned about how to write effective entry sheets and tips on joining company recruiting fairs, followed by the active the Q & A periods.

    December. 1st (Wed.), 2021, 12:15-, “Japanese Traditional Textile Dyeing Workshop” was held by Toyonaka B.S.P. at Toyonaka Branch. The number of participants was 2 international students and 5 local students. White handkerchiefs, which have unique designs using familiar materials such as buttons and rubber bands, were beautifully dyed with blue dye.

    In November 26th (Fri.), 2021, 18:30-, on the 5th floor of “Research and Education Hub” on Minoh campus, “Welcome Party” was held by Minoh B.S.P. via face to face. The number of participants was 14 international students and 22 local students including new students from this autumn. Through introduction quizzes performed by international and local students, a warm and peaceful welcome party was held.
