Policy Issues in the Global Economy

Objective
  Interdependence among economies has been intensified through globalization. Selected economic policy issues which raise global concerns are discussed in the context of this trend of integration of the global economy.

Lecture Trip
  We will discuss the following policy issues: Population Aging, Global Imbalances, Institutional Development, and Globalization and Inequality.

Textbook
  There will be no assigned textbook.
  References are assigned in class.

Grading
  Class involvement, assigned reports and end-term examination.
