Course Objective

• To develop an understanding of how computer-supported learning environment has influenced language learning methodology.
• To improve your target language ability in a computer-supported learning environment.
• To develop understanding of cultural background of both your 1st language and your target language.

Special Note
   Please note that this course is for students whose L2/target language is Japanese or English. Keen learners of your target language are most welcome. This course is aiming for active learning, or student-centered collaborative learning. Your active participation expected

   This class will be conducted based on active learning where collaborative activities such as group discussion, group presentation play important parts in class.

Grading Policy

• Presentations (group presentation, solo presentation) 35%
• Tasks during class (group discussion, pair talk, written tasks, quizzes etc. ) 25%
• Home assignments: 15%
• Final report : 25%
