Japan and the Afro-Asian countries

Objective
  The purpose of the course is to familiarize the students with "the differences" and "the similarities" between the Afro-Asian countries and Japan, by presenting the instructor's culture-specific views, episodes or experiences, and to exchange opinions as to the cultural factors conducive to harboring them. The course is expected to contribute to enhancing mutual understanding among the participants. The students are encouraged to actively participate in the class activities and express their opinions as well as their own experiences.
