PHILOSOPHICAL THINKING AND JAPANESE TRADITIONS

Objective
The purpose of these lectures is to make clear the various aspects of Japanese thought from the past to the present. The course will start from several origins of ideas in Japan. In the intermediate stage, it will focus on the thoughts of some modern philosophers. The concluding hours will be spent on contemporary thinking in people's life and philosophical thinking. The course will be taught by 10 staff members from the philosophy department.
