Objective We are living in an increasingly globalized world today.  We are living in an increasingly globalized world today.  This course will examine the effects of globalization on various (political, enomic, cultural) aspects of contemporary international relations as well as provide basic knowledge on wide-ranging problems in the world today. nomic, cultural) aspects of contemporary international relations as well as provide basic knowledge on wide-ranging problems in the world today.  Students will be encouraged to present their view on the issues and be stimulated by the view of others from different parts of the world in order to turn the class itself into "international relations in a globalizing world", which is a unique OUSSEP opportunity.

Textbook There will be no assigned textbook. Short reading materials will be distributed in class.
