Spring Online Japanese Special Seminar

◆Beginner Class
8days: March 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 8th, 9th, 10th (Except Saturday and Sunday )
1class per a day, AM 10:30〜12:00 ※Students will devided into 2 classes

◆Intermediate Class
7days: March 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 8th, 9th (Except Saturday and Sunday )
1 class per a day
・Intermediate Class1AM 10:30 〜12:00
・Intermediate Class2 PM 1:30〜3:00
※Please choose class 1 or 2, if you apply for Intermediate class

Target: International students at Osaka University only
Capacity: Up to 10 students per class (first come, first served)

This program is for those who were not able to take Japanese classes this semester or who want to study Japanese more during spring break.There are no credits, but the Japanese language teachers will help you learn at your own pace. If you are interested, please come and join us.

【Finished】Jan.7(Thu.) Let’s experience Japanese New Year(Suita B.S.P.)

Jan. 7 (Thur.), 2021, 12:00-
“Let’s experience Japanese New Year” was held by Suita B.S.P. at IRIS.
The number of participants were four international students and three local students. They enjoyed Kakizome (calligraphy), Fukuwarai (making a funny face), spinning tops, and traditional card games, which are traditionally held on New Year’s Day in Japan.

Place: IRIS (2F, IC Hall, Suita campus)
Contents: New Year’s calligraphy, Japanese traditional card games, Fukuwarai (New Year’s lucky face-making game)
Fee: Free
Target: Osaka University students only
* Pre-registration is not required.
* Due to the prevention of COVID-19, we may refuse to enter IRIS when too many participants join.

【Finished】Jan.6(Wed.) Kakizome(Calligraphy) (Toyonaka B.S.P.)

“KAKIZOME” was held by Toyonaka B.S.P. at the CIEE Toyonaka Branch. The number of participants were seven international students and seven local students. They enjoyed writing their new year’s resolution with a writing brush.

“Kakizome” was held by Minoh B.S.P. at the CIEE Minoh Branch. The number of participants were two international students and eight local students. The international students experienced the event of New Year’s Day in Japan and they had a good time.

【EVENT】Jan.18(Mon.) The 7th online job search strategy course for international students: Basic rules of interview and Group Discussion (CIEE)

Date & Time:January 18th (Mon) 17:30 to 19:00
by Zoom (URL will be sent via email to those who have registered the seminars by noon, Jan. 18th.)
Target: Only Osaka University students who have student status at the current semester
※The seminar will be conducted in Japanese language.
It will be a good opportunity to learn about basic rules and manners of interviews and prepare group discussion.
